Down with the imperialist aggression against iran!
Yankee imperialism, following its state policy of military intervention around the world to defend its interests, has now directly attacked Iran—after Israel, its hired thug in the Middle East, struck first in a cowardly manner, without even declaring war.
All that talk about a democratic international order led by the UN has been shattered with every bomb dropped by Yankee-Zionism on children and pregnant mothers in hospitals, schools, and food centers. And all this death for what? To steal Iran’s oil and gas, and to turn Gaza into yet another resort for millionaires. That is how capitalism functions in its final, terminal, twilight phase: like a dying patient who needs ever stronger injections just to survive, capitalism requires increasingly larger doses of war and genocide to keep itself alive.
Behind the conflict between nations lies the class struggle—the struggle between a minority of exploiters and the vast exploited majority. For this reason, the bourgeois-theocratic government of Iran cannot be entrusted with the task of defeating the militarist bourgeoisie of the United States, with whom it will always be ready to negotiate and reach agreements. No bourgeois government can be progressive or anti-imperialist today—neither Putin’s, nor Maduro’s, nor, least of all, that of the Ayatollahs.
On the contrary, only the forces of the workers—brutally repressed by these very same “progressive” governments—can destroy the colonialist machine. We saw it in Russia, in Venezuela, and also in Iran, where hundreds of proletarian women were murdered some years ago in mass protests against the patriarchal imposition of the veil. Evidently, the armed resistance of the oppressed nation must be supported, but this does not mean political support for its bourgeois leadership. On the contrary, the development of a socialist proletarian revolution must be encouraged—the only real guarantee against imperialism.
While false socialists subordinate the masses to the “democratic” wing of the bourgeoisie, true internationalist revolutionaries propose an independent path of struggle, uniting the battles of the exploited across the world—battles like those in Los Angeles, in the very heart of the imperialist beast.
In 1917, Russia achieved a genuine socialist revolution, later betrayed and bureaucratized by Stalin and his accomplices. Nevertheless, its memory remains alive and immortal in the heart of the proletarian vanguard. We must return to that path to put an end, once and for all, to so many wars and genocides.
